Released: July 27, 2014
Four Castles is Barlow's first full-length album, and third album overall. Straying away from the shoegaze hallmarks of Fell Asleep,
Four Castles has more of a melodic focus, and is somewhat more hi-fi.
Four Castles was originally going to be much longer, as evidenced by working tracklistings of the "tentative LP" tracklistings Barlow posted
on their Facebook.
Blacklight developed into Old House, and was originally around 5 minutes long. Hagith is the first half of the Findlay version of Nowhere. Sober is an early version of Fancy. Blood Balloon is an unreleased track. Lace is most likely Miles of Lace, and Last Walk is most likely Last Walk Through Alley. An updated track listing posted a month later was mostly the same, except Sober was renamed Fancy, Blood Balloon and Visor were seemingly removed, and Guilt was listed as the closing track.
